Overview

Command R+ (updated snapshot `command-r-plus-08-2024`) is Cohere's 104-billion parameter flagship model designed specifically for enterprise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multi-step tool use. The model features a 128,000-token context window with up to 4,096 output tokens. It is pre-trained and fine-tuned for high accuracy in citation generation, document analysis, multi-hop reasoning, and complex tool integration across 10 business languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and Simplified Chinese). Command R+ is available via Cohere's hosted API ($2.50 / 1M input tokens, $10.00 / 1M output tokens) and Azure AI Studio. Weights are available under CC-BY-NC 4.0 for non-commercial research and evaluation.
